Great post! Glad you liked the oils and hydrosols! I've got a big cast iron out door bathtub I built. I generally like to add Epsom salts as well as one of my hydrosols to the bath. Cottonwood, Doug fir, red cedar, these are my favorites, peppermint is super stimulating and nice, lavender of coarse... Adding hydrosols to your bath are amazing.......

Thanks for the correction Mirko. You're right, it's only in a 2009 edition where Gordon Miller writes at length about it in the introduction. This edition also has a lot of notes connecting Goethe's observations back to the Urpflanze. I stand corrected and will edit the post accordingly.

If you read "Die Metamorphose der Pflanzen" you never find a single hint to the idea of a "Urpflanze". You find it in letters to Charlotte von Stein sent by Goethe during his stay in Palermo, Italy, and in der "Italienische Reise"

You know, I don't know where these prints could be obtained. I'll look into it and see if I can find out anything.

Along the lines of A Natural History of the Senses, which I can't wait to start reading, is The Spell of the Sensuous: Perception and Language in a More-Than-Human World by David Abram. Just send me some snow so I can stay in bed!

The Lost Language of plants is a wonderful book! It truly changed the way I see the world.
I hope you get as much from it as I did.
There's a few other books on your list that I'll be jotting down onto my 'to read' list as well :)

[...] I do see more practitioners and thinkers leaving behind the ‘Health=Good/Illness=Bad’ dichotomy that’s plagued allopathic and naturopathic systems of medicine alike. That’s a good thing, given that being stuck in this linear spectrum is not really working for anybody. (See my recent post on Polarities and Paradoxes.) [...]
